- Non-ASN Member Individuals can subscribe to an online subscription. Non-members should review the subscriber rates and contact ASN Subscription Services indicated below. When you subscribe to the online journal you will receive instructions for activating your online access. You will be asked to provide the following information necessary to activate your online subscription.
- A user name and password that you can easily remember
- Your name, phone number, and email address

- Customer number (included with the letter)
- Institution's IP Address(es)
Please review this critical information about IP Addresses.

Additional information:
My library subscribes to the ASN journals in print and I can't get access to it online. Why?
Your institution has not purchased an online subscription to the journals. Urge your librarian to order an online subscription. Alternatively, your institution has not yet activated its institutional online subscription. Notify your library that you would like access to the journals and encourage your librarian to activate the online subscription.
How can I tell if my institution has subscribed to the journals?
If your institution has a subscription, you'll automatically have access to the tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full-text display, PDFs, PubMed and GenBank links and more. You'll also see a button at the top of the page confirming you're signed in as part of an institution.
If your institution has not subscribed, you can obtain access through a member subscription or a non-member individual subscription.
